OUR STORY
How it all began
There’s this one quote I always found interesting from Cowboy Bebop and that’s “Whatever happens, happens”. See I never actually was looking for love and especially not on this app called TikTok. but yet it happened.
On a Thursday I had a feeling, a feeling to check out this app called TikTok, which I absolutely disliked since I’m a bit old school and prefer the horizontal way of filming, but yet there I was opening the app while hearing the news in Belgium in the background, until I saw this sweet person who was making a video about mental health and time stood still. Something dragged me into her …. was it her smile ? or how open she was about mental health? or her eyes ? no idea but I had a feeling…… a feeling called love at first sight. With shaking hands I was wondering…. should I write her ? isn’t that too much ? but yet I did and that was the beginning of something special.
Flashforward a year later we finally decided to meet up in real life to see what life would bring us, and from the first hug, we both knew…… we found home in each other. Now not everything is sweet and distance is a thing. that’s why we decided to make this blog. We hope to inspire others, make sure people who are dealing with a distance know they are not alone, but also to read everything again when we’re older. because this is a story about two people who fell in love…. a love that will never end.
we want to make one thing sure, that’s that we’re not influencers. we simply share our world and experiences. Yes, we tend to do reviews and such, but those are all things we bought. We want to give our own opinion about them. Everything you’ll see on our social media or read here is based on our experiences. We base them on the whole world of being in a LDR.
Where have we been?
Being together also means we tend to explore each other’s country. Even though the countries are fairly close to each other, there are still some differences. In any case, this our our little map on where we’ve been so far together. it may seem small, but it’s packed with memories.
